Landmark Hospital of Southwest Florida has an exciting opportunity for a Unit Secretary to join our dedicated and professional team. SHIFT: Day and Night Shift Summary: The Unit Secretary operates within Landmark Hospital's Core Values to support clinical activities of the organization. This is done under the supervision of the Charge Nurse. Serves as the primary receptionist and secretarial resource for the nursing unit. Responsibilities: Communicates effectively with other staff members in the support of patient care. Assists in ordering supplies and tracking charges. Directs communicaation with the nursing unit Prepares and ensures completion of patients' medical records. Assists nurses with order transcription. Assists with answering call lights. Participates in professional and staff development Requirements: High School Graduate or equivalent One year hospital/healthcare experience is strongly preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Team, detail and goal orioented.
