Trust & Estate Litigation Hybrid
This client's assistant role is a hybrid blend between secretarial and paralegal work. The two lawyers in that office do most of their own drafting of pleadings, etc., and the assistant helps edit, file and serve documents, schedules hearings and depositions, and handles various administrative matters (e.g, bar activities). The current assistant is retiring and will be helping train the new assistant.
We are looking for someone with some litigation or at least probate and trust experience, is current on Microsoft Office, and is highly organized (keeping everything running on time).
$51-65K plus client funds a retirement SEP after 90 day employment time, funds health insurance, and gives end of year bonuses when earned.
