Outside Sales Representative

Consider this. Our Outside Sales Representatives work on some of the most interesting and prolific projects in our industry. Graybar is looking for a new Outside Sales Representative in Naples, FL, to sell our products and services specializing in the Commercial / Institutional / Government (CIG) market. You will develop new prospects and maintain contact with established customers, regularly visiting them at their site of business or other off-site locations. If developing personal relationships with your customers and delivering the best service in the industry is your priority, we are looking for you.

In this role you will:

  • Meet or exceed assigned annual budgets working in assigned territory

  • Drive sales and merchandise programs, provide input on new products and services

  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and recommending Graybar services and programs tailored to their business needs

  • Participate in training sessions, trade shows and sales meetings

  • Ensure up-to-date, accurate customer records including reports of business transactions

What you bring to the table:

  • 2-3 years of experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of electrical industry preferred
  • Proven negotiation skills
  • A desire to learn new products/services
  • Ability to work independently to achieve goals
